Gary Francis is an Australian freelance photographer based in Adelaide, Australia.
Gary returned to Australia at the end of 2005 after spending the best part of 15 year's based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and then Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
He has a wide range of experience in South East Asia and extensive knowledge of his home country of Australia. He has also had the opportunity to study with VII photographers Jim Nachtwey, Gary Knight and Antonin Kratochvil.
His clients include Newsweek, The Observer, The Guardian, The Financial Times, The Sunday Times, RM Williams, Nestle, GTZ, Leighton Holdings, British America Tobacco, McConnell Dowell, Kone, Frommers, Getty Images, Lonely Planet, Pearsons Publishing.

Photographic assignments taken are shot in a photojournalistic style. In recent years this has ranged from editorial portraits and photo essays for magazines , Aid organizations to Corporate Annual Reports, Executive portraits and re-branding, to book projects, and to creating digital assets for Government and Corporate photo libraries.
